> SlowTrav > Italy > Trip Planning Reservations for Art Galleries and MuseumsPauline Kenny You need reservations for many of the major art galleries, like the Uffizi in Florence and the Borghese in Rome. If you do not have reservations for the Uffizi, you could wait in line for hours. You cannot get into the Borghese without a reservation. Order advanced tickets and reservations from online Booking Agencies (see our list below). Be sure you are not just getting an advance ticket - but also a reservation time - or you may still end up waiting in line. Read below for details on the galleries in each major city. Remember, you can also wait until you arrive in the city and have your hotel get a reservation for you, but in high season it is best to book ahead. Booking Agencies
