Cammillo Trattoria is a very pretty restaurant that seemed to attract "ladies who lunch," and when I was there an academic crowd as well. There was a nice mix of locals and tourists and the service was very accommodating. This was one of my last lunches in Florence on this trip and I had yet to have one of my favorites, fried zucchini flowers, so I had that as an appetizer and it was very good. I asked for the waiter's recommendation for a pasta dish in season and he suggested a terrific pasta with fresh peas with a light garlic and oil sauce. I still dream about that dish! I would be happy to go back for another meal here. Reviewed by: Jane from CA, review #45 When: 2002
Directions: Between Via de' Sapiti and Via dello Sprone
