Each time I read Slow Trav, I plan another trip
Reading each message board, I need to get a grip
Each night I dream of Paris or Rome
Why must I be a Slow Traveler at home?

We share our recipes, we show our cats and dogs,
We write our trip reports, we read each others' blogs
Each night I plan, and sometimes I whine
Why can't I have more funds and vacation time?

We chat each week, post photos too
Without Slow Travel, oh my God, what would we do?
If we plan a GTG, people want to come and meet
We love to talk and play, of course we love to eat
Friends we have made will last through the years
So raise your glasses now, Slow Travel 3 cheers!

To Italy we wants to go back

Teachick's life's a movie, and Montreal was groovy
Now she's doing yoga each day
Kaydee's waiting, she keeps anticipating
How her groups can travel and play
But at her desk Pauline just sits
Making Google maps but not plannin' trips
Diva's cooking, to China she is looking
To Florida she'll be comin' soon

Jane's in Greve, livin' life the slow way
Her blog is such a pleasure to read
Spain loved Shannon, another trip she's plannin'
Going back is just what she needs
Marian is staying in Ferrara,
still drinking wine and sitting in a bar, ah!
I'd like to retire, become a frequent flyer
That's what we're all aiming at

When you go, travel slow, waiting sucks, spend the bucks
We all want to travel and see
Start to nag, pack a bag, what's a little jet lag?
Book a trip to Italy!
Colleen and Chris can moderate the boards now,
When we get out of hand, they keep us in our place, Wow!
Marcia booked flight when Dave said “alright”
