Over Bourne Bridge, Friday afternoon after taking local roads from Newton to New Bedford to avoid highway backups.

Full moon over Wellfleet Harbor, after dinner at Mac's on the Harbor, eaten with toes wriggling in the sand.

Sunset, Larry and Evan, west from Coast Guard beach.

Moon over Coast Guard beach.

Lecount's Hollow Beach, Wellfleet.

Wild blueberries, Beach Forest Trail, Wellfleet. Delicious.

Larry and Evan, Beach Forest Trail. Lovely trail up and down the forest at the edge of the dunes, overlooking a freshwater pond.

Lilly pads in pond, Beach Forest Trail.

Dunes, Race Point trail, Provincetown. One of the most glorious places i know.

House, Provincetown.

Blackened Scallops with vegetables, Catch of the Day, Eastham. So good.

Crazy people, Lecount's Hollow, Welfleet.

Fisher beach, Truro.

White Cedar Swamp Trail, Eastham. Another favorite trail. Tip--don't bother with the last 1/2 mile through soft sand back to the parking lot, just retrace your route after you leave the boardwalk. Uphill and longer, but a nicer return walk.

Deer Tick bait, White Cedar Swamp Trail, Eastham. I hate DEET, but I think I'd hate Lyme disease more.
