I haven't had much time to blog this week, we've been on the go quite a bit. And even now I fear I'm too tired to write very much.
We were up early and went to Stonehenge at 6:15 this morning. We saw the end of a dawn Druid ceremony and got to walk amongst the giant stones ourselves. At the end of our timeslot, I took one last stroll around the outside of the circle. As I walked around, I realized everyone else had started back toward the parking lot, so I stepped back in the circle, closed my eyes and stood there. Entirely alone in the middle of Stonehenge. It was so incredible, magical, mystical I can hardly believe it happened.
We have also been to Winchester Cathedral, which houses the incredible Winchester Bible. A very old illuminated bible, with the colours for the illustrations made of lapis lazuli and such.
Also the Roman Baths - two hours was not enough time! The audio tour is very worthwhile.
I promise I'll try to write more in a couple days when we have some "down" time...right now I have to go to sleep!!
Cheerio!

Soo good to hear from you. Thanks for the update. Sorry to hear you're exhausted, but worth it, eh?! It all sounds amazing.

Oh, the wonder of Stonehenge! I've always wanted to go. I'm green, yet again. This seems to be an all-too-common-state for me, while you are away on your marvellous trip.
Give the girls my love. I can't wait to see you all.
Love,
Lynn
