I am not feeling verbally inspired today, I'm afraid. So I'll (hopefully) give you a laugh instead.
Here are a couple pictures taken on the webcam - we're just goofin' around, that's all!
Look at me! I'm a blockhead!! (This reminds me of Mary Walsh's character from "This Hour Has 22 Minutes" named Connie Bloor...I don't know why though.)

Excellent! Sometimes, when I write in my journal (remember those, pen and paper), I would have entire entries that said things like "I have nothing to write about. What am I going to write?"
This was much better. Thanks for the laugh.

My new laptop has a webcam - I turned it on once and shrieked - at me. No way Jose. Crikey. Hey - remember the Jetsons?
Mrs Jetson taking a video phone call and popping on a mask so she appeared with full make up and her hair just perfect?

Hey Anne, this is random but I wanted to tell you before I forgot.
In your Venice photo album, you've got a photo of an angel inside San Giorgio Maggiore and you weren't sure what the sign meant. I saw it too and wondered about it when I was there.
I just got a new book about the Bell Towers of Venice, and it says that that angel was the original angel on top of the tower, and it was struck by lightning in 1994 and caught on fire. So they put a copy on the tower and brought the old burned one inside.
Now we know!

Thanks Annie! I always love to know the story behind such things. How fortunate for me that you got your new book!

Great idea for an entry. Webcam photos are so much fun - I admit to holding up my cats to them. That's the price they pay for sitting on my lap when I'm working on the computer!
