This beautiful scene met our eyes as we drove home from children's choir practice this evening:

Reminded me of one of my favourite Elton John songs...I play it on my own piano, but somehow it doesn't quite sound the same ;)

Stunning photo -- and that's one of my favourite Elton John songs. I really love his old stuff best, to me those songs have much more heart and soul than many of his more recent ballads which can seem a bit too saccharine. Thanks for this!

I LOVE that photo! Elton John is one of my favorites. I tried to do a top 5 song list but failed. He was definitely on it but I couldn't choose just one song. Thanks for the great music to enjoy,

Thanks everyone. Yup, Sir Elton is hard to beat!
Chiocciola, it really is a beautiful part of the world, with tons of diversity in our natural environment.

What a gorgeous photo!
I love Elton John too. He was supposed to play in Piazza San Marco in Venice last summer but it was cancelled - I recently read that it will happen this summer (in July, maybe?). How fun would that be?!

He played at a festival in Lucca while we were staying in Florence last year...am still kicking myself for not getting tickets!! I would LOVE to see him live.
