As expected, I'm having a devil of a time keeping a certain little miss Polly out of the Christmas tree...
I'm just standing here beside the tree, what's the problem?
I'll just close my eyes and she won't see me...
Oops, that didn't work, I better duck behind this branch...
So many pretty packages...I fit right in, don't you think?
Hey, is this card for ME?
I didn't have a chance to snap a photo of Polly actually climbing up the tree just now...I was too busy squawking at her to "GET DOWN FROM THERE!!!"

I am sitting here singing the Deck the Halls song, but with the barfed up holly line!
Pye was into the presents just before chompin' on some ribbon. And Giancarlo had to give his father his present with the ribbon chewed almost right off by his cat Tigger. His father must have been puzzled and would have wondered what happened to it.

What a cutie pie! She has REALLY grown. I love that little pink nose. In the first photo, she really does have that "innocent/guilty" look they get! And the "so many packages" photo is really beautiful.
I hope that you and your family have a wonderful holiday. Can't believe it's almost here!

Aaahhh, the best time of the year for a cat. I think it is a lost cause trying to keep her away from the tree. I used to only put ornaments on the top half of the tree when I had a cat. She would still manage to knock a few down. Cute pictures!!
I did not forget your photo...and will email it to you this week :)

Leslie, I wonder how many Christmas carols we can modify with cat-related lyrics?!
Annie, she has definitely grown out of her little kitten-hood! But still looks tiny next to Winston (she's about 6 lbs and he is 15!)
girasoli, I think my efforts to chase her out of the tree are fading. You're right, it is a losing battle! Yay for the photo!

Hi Anne, these photos are so cute and funny too! I love it!
Happy Holidays to you and your family Anne!
BTW, on my return trip from Spain guess what movie they were playing? Mamma Mia! You dancing, singing and clapping in the back row of the movie theatre immediately came to mind! :)

Kathy, that's funny! Mamma Mia came out on DVD last week, so I am hoping it comes to me as a Christmas present!

Wonderful photos, Anne. Cats just can't control their curiousity (so hey -- why bother!)
Little Miss Polly is adorable, I love her colouring -- like a furry, small Holstein cow with those distinctive black markings!

Good thing I read your comments again. I already forgot about the photo I need to mail you, even though it is sitting on my desktop. I think my desktop is turning into the Bermuda Triangle!!
