I laughed at this title. After Pearl Harbor, they started having this "test of the emergency broadcast system" which can be irritating at times the first Monday of every month at 11:45 am.
If anyone planning to attack had any brains (although I would have to say anyone attacking really has no brains) but if they did, I would think the best time would be at 11:45 am on the first Monday of the month.
I am not sure just when this "test" started but it has been going on for tons of years now. We have sirens that go off as well as the irritating announcement on TV each month. Of course the sirens/announcement is also for hurricanes, tidal waves, etc.

girasoli, there used to be a similar test on TV here when I was growing up. That's what gave me the idea, cool that the title rang a bell with you too! ;)

Hi Anne, that is a wonderful photo and that tree really does draw you into this beautiful scene.
I have to say that you can surprise me with your entry titles. I love it! Which reminds me, I'm going to have to practice my schedule post feature too for our February Challenge.
Have a great evening Anne!

Good luck with the scheduling, Kathy. In case you don't know this, it can take an hour or two past the scheduled time for it to show up as published. I didn't know that until Kim told me, so was checking too soon when doing test posts and thinking the scheduling just wasn't working. I guess the scheduling program only runs every so often, so if you miss an occurrence, your post won't be published until the next pass.

Anne, I am glad you mentioned that it takes a while to post. If I happened to have access to the internet just after I did a scheduled post and it was not showing up (both on slow trav blogs and blogger), I was always puzzled thinking I did something wrong when it was not posted. Now I know to just be patient and wait.

Beautiful photo. I love trees that "weep".

Maria, weeping willows have always been favourites of mine (not sure what kind of weeping tree this is though.) I am thinking of planting a few willows at the back of our property, where we border the marsh.
