My dad forwarded some photos of my youngest brother, Barnes, who is in his early 20s. Wow. I'm stunned!! I knew he was a handsome lad and all, but...wow, he can give any of those magazine boys a run for their money! Apparently he recently did a photo shoot for a modelling company in London, hoping to earn some extra money on the side. I showed the photos to M and, like me, her eyes nearly popped out of her head...she couldn't believe this was her uncle. He was in his teens last time she saw him, and has definitely matured in his looks the past few years! I think she plans to show him off to her friends! I don't blame her, I plan to do the same! lol

girasoli, we keep in touch mostly through facebook, with the odd email thrown in from time to time. But my whole UK family is considering coming over here for a visit next summer. Will be great fun if that works out! :)

And what a great name, Barnes. Is he becoming a professional model? If not, he would have been perfect to play Edward in the Twilight movies (yes, I confess: I've seen Twilight and I'm going to see New Moon this afternoon.)

Sandra, he's just hoping to supplement his income, so maybe would be open to modelling or acting gigs. You're right, he WOULD have made a great Edward (I too have seen Twilight...twice!)
Oh and on top of being gorgeous and a sweetheart, he's also very athletic. He could have played professional football (what we call soccer) but didn't accept the offers because apparently it's a bit of an all or nothing choice in the UK leagues(i.e. football OR higher education, but not so much both, so after a few years of playing, one can end up without much to fall back on.)

Nancy, that's one of my favourites too! There are actually over 700 of them on his rough page, but he had to choose just a few for the agency's website. Some of the photos blew me away in the sense that, had I seen them in a magazine without a clue as to the model's identity, I honestly don't know if I would have recognized him!
