We have a winner! It is Pompeii, so congrats to girasoli!
We stopped there on our way from Rome to Sorrento in March 2006. What a fabulous day exploring that amazing ancient place...

Annie, if this is what Sicily looks like, I am intrigued! (Ok, I was already intrigued by Sicily, but now even more so! lol)
