Girasoli, I know what you mean. The image of Christ looks like it was painted yesterday unlike most shrines which are rather weather-beaten. I'd love to know which was there first....the shrine or the Communist Party office?

Hi Annie, Great photo! Interesting that they didn't go ahead and paint that whole side of the building, just the bottom half.
That's a great looking shrine. It even has a beautiful lace on there as well.
