Chapter I: The Bertolini
"The Signora had no business to do it," said Miss Bartlett, "no business at all. She promised us south rooms with a view close together, instead of which here are north rooms, looking into a courtyard, and a long way apart. Oh, Lucy!"
"I want so to see the Arno. The rooms the Signora promised us in her letter would have looked over the Arno. The Signora had no business to do it at all. Oh, it is a shame!"
- It's one of my very favorite books. I just downloaded the audio book onto my ipod. :)

I just wish I could see what that cat is seeing. It must be a very nice view, she seems so contented!

I'm early myself as usual and was browsing technorati for other early birds. I love this shot. I hope you enjoy your unplugged days. Always nice to get away from the computer for a while or it is for me.

This is such a sweet photo of LuLu. I love the light on her and how you can tell that there's something outside that just caught her attention.

I like the shadows cast on its face. Together with the cat's pensive look, the overall effect is slightly melancholic. Great shot!
