This week's PhotoHunt theme is "thankful."
There are so many things I'm thankful for, and it's been fun to count my blessings this week as I tried to figure out what to post for this theme. Family and friends, good health, my home, freedom to travel, faith hope and charity, Obama, my cats...
Then I got this classic old hymn in my head and decided to go in this direction:
"For the beauty of the earth, for the glory of the skies..."

You can find more Photo Hunters and join the hunt here.
Have a great weekend everyone and Happy PhotoHunting!
i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky; and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun's birthday; this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings: and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any--lifted from the no
of all nothing--human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)

The theme came at the most opportune time as Lent begins. I think we have a lot to be thankful for and I'm very excited to see what fellow players come up with this week.
Enjoy your weekend.

Lovely photo. Like you I trawled through my head for something different to be thankful for because I thought everyone would have children or families and I find very few do!
