Beautifully presented fresh produce and lovely flowers.

Enjoyed your shots for the theme, happy weekend!

That's a beautiful photograph of beautiful food. What a wonderful tableau for the senses.

I went the farmers market route to address the theme this week too. Nowhere can you get the freshest produce than the local farmers market.

Anne, this time of year, seeing photos of street markets makes me so antsy for spring! Great shot.

That looks wonderfully fresh!

Lovely and vibrant :-)

That market looks wonderful! Love how there are always so many fresh vegetable and fruits sold everywhere in Italy. Beautiful fresh flowers also. Love both photos!

Wonderful photos for the theme.

I love going to the market too... Love the fresh veggies.

it looks deliciously fresh

Some unusual looking vegetables among more familiar ones in your upper photo. Are they from Italy or...?

Yes they are from Italy. This was taken in December so much of the stuff was from Siciliy.

Beautiful photos, great shot of all the fresh produce, in the market. I love all the fresh produce markets in Italy. ( I did the same )
Have a great week end

Kathy (Trekcapri):

Hi Annie, wonderful take on the theme and two beautiful photos. I love the colors and activities of fresh food markets especially in Italy. And it's great to see beautiful fresh flowers by these wonderful Shrines.

Have a great weekend.

Lovely! The first photo has a very appealing spread. Yum!

I played, too! Have a blessed weekend.

i love your take on the current theme of fresh....love your market stand and alter, aren't those corner alters in italy so interesting?

thanks for sharing.

fresh fruits are the best :D

Love the little markets in Italy. Used to go to one in the little town of Codogn`e about 40 miles North of Venice. Usually very fresh and wonderful. Certainly a FRESH look at this week's theme. If you want to get FRESH with me this week check mine here.

great photos, i love the red lettuce from trevignana

As always - super photos! I love market days in Italy just to peruse the fruits and veges!

I did the Farmers Market route as well.

But what a difference in developing countries. :)

Lovely photos - I especially love the fresh vegetables in the market.

I love the photo of the fresh veggies! Seeing it makes me want to be in Italy ASAP. :)

The shrine image is also beautiful and I love the bright flowers.

(After a long break I started reading Donna Leon's books. I just finished The Girl of His Dreams. I think so far I've read all except the last one.)
