I went the farmers market route to address the theme this week too. Nowhere can you get the freshest produce than the local farmers market.

Some unusual looking vegetables among more familiar ones in your upper photo. Are they from Italy or...?
Hi YTSL,
Yes they are from Italy. This was taken in December so much of the stuff was from Siciliy.

Hi Annie, wonderful take on the theme and two beautiful photos. I love the colors and activities of fresh food markets especially in Italy. And it's great to see beautiful fresh flowers by these wonderful Shrines.
Have a great weekend.

Love the little markets in Italy. Used to go to one in the little town of Codogn`e about 40 miles North of Venice. Usually very fresh and wonderful. Certainly a FRESH look at this week's theme. If you want to get FRESH with me this week check mine here.

I love the photo of the fresh veggies! Seeing it makes me want to be in Italy ASAP. :)
The shrine image is also beautiful and I love the bright flowers.
(After a long break I started reading Donna Leon's books. I just finished The Girl of His Dreams. I think so far I've read all except the last one.)
