Hi Annie, two wonderful choices for this week's theme. I enjoyed looking in those beautiful shops in Venice too. I love the soft colors of the pretty poppies in your second photo.

Venice has such wonderful colored glass. I would have a hard time leaving that shop without a purchase.

Thanks for sharing your pics! I really like the shimmering quality of the multi-colored glasses!! BTW, I snapped some brightly colored shrines out in Burano, and I totally thought of you!! :-)

As usual, you have beautiful photos!
I have tried to grow poppies in my old garden but none came up. I am going to try in the new garden, next year...
And the glass... So lovely! I wanted to try my hand at blown glass in college but we only had kiln-fired glass courses and I had such a courseload that I ended up dropping the class. Sigh....
