Thanks to Bert for sending this photo of this gorgeous vera da pozzo in another cloister that I didn't find when I was roaming around the Ospedale Civile. What a beauty this one is...it even has a sculpture on top.
So now I've got the library and this on my "next time" list. I know that I'm not the only one who comes home from Venice and almost immediately starts planning the next trip. :)

Hi Annie, that's a very beautiful vera da pozzo. And it would be so cool to see it in person. You're right, I haven't returned since 2007 yet, but I'm always dreaming about returning one day soon again. :)
Thanks so much to Bert and to you for posting and sharing.

I'm sure there aren't many sites that you have missed!

Kathy, I hope you make it back to Venice someday. I know you've got a long list of places you want to go.
Menehune, your comment made me laugh! There are so many things in Venice that I've missed, haven't looked for yet, churches not open etc. etc. I read an interview with John Julius Norwich (author of "A History of Venice") and he said that he's been there 400 times and keeps finding things he'd never seen before. :)
