This week's PhotoHunt theme is "Shadow."
This theme was challenging for me; I had too many possibilites and had a tough time narrowing it down.
Here's one from Venice~
And here in NC, a bike and bike rack~
Posting this one from my yard because I heard on the news that this week was the first time in history that there was snow on the ground in 49 out of 50 states in the US~
And here's my sweet orange cat, LuLu~

I did not know that about the USA and snow. I never think of snow in the southern states Wow! Great pics love the shadow hearts and of course Lulu is a sweetie :) Happy weekend, and photo hunting!

great choices. i particularly like the way the bike and bike rack cast a beautiful shadow across the ground. Lulu looks adorable.

All five photos are interesting in their own way but I really like your middle photo best. There's something very cool and 'clean' about it. :)

Great selections. I think my favorite is your first one, though. The railings are so intricate, and the shadows really emphasize that.

Hi Annie, great collection of photos... they are all so different. Your sweet Lulu, looks beautiful even in the shadows. So interesting to learn that 49 out of 50 states had snow this week. Looks like a bunch dropped in your back yard. Looks very pretty with the snow.

Which was the state that didn't? I was surprised to learn a few years back that Hawaii actually has a snowplow! A single operator because they actually have the snow on some of the highest of the mountain roads!
