Be still, my heart! Boy, I love this one.
I wasn't expecting to find another shrine on Torcello since I'd spent a long time looking for them in 2008. But when I walked across the Ponte del Diavolo, I found this Madonna in a niche in the wall. What a beauty.

Hi Annie, that is a really beautiful shrine. I even love its location with the colorful bricks and the leaves surrounding it. Really adds to its charm. I'm so glad you discovered it in your recent trip. Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful photos with us.

This really is a delightful shrine, Annie! It looks like moss is growing over the Madonna in a wonderfully natural fashion and the colorful cyclamen in pots bring in other colours. The shrine looks perfectly natural.
