This week's PhotoHunt theme is "Trees."
A tough theme because I had so many!
These two are from the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh. The first one was taken on the hiking trails surrounding the museum ....an outdoor painting surrounded by trees.~
And inside the museum cafe, a sculpture made of red maple saplings~
This one was taken in downtown Durham, NC.~
Winter-time tree at the lake close to my house~
A bird's nest in a tree~
You can find more Photo Hunters and join the hunt here.
Thanks for visiting and have a good weekend.

Hi Annie, wow these are all so beautiful. NC is such a beautiful area. Love the hiking photo with the sun shining through and that cool lake. I find that sculpture really interesting and very unique. And I love the green building and the little birds nest in the tree. An awesome collection and take on this week's theme.
Have a great weekend!

These are all great choices. I'm glad you included some from the NCMA. I remember when the NCMA was in downtown Raleigh during my youth and in some ways I hated to see it leave the old building downtown. However, after they created the Art Park with trails and outdoor art I finally came to love the museum in its new location. Funny how now the new museum has become the old museum since they have a new building addition. But to me the old museum will always be the old old NCMA in its original downtown location.

I must agree with you that it's tough to limit one's posting to just a few. I love photographing trees too.
You done well with this theme.

Love your choice of photos for this week's Photo Hunt. The red maple saplings one is definitely the most unconventional but I like your more conventional subjects and views too. :)

Your collection of tree photos is interesting and varied. Love the creativity of the vine/twig(?) wall mural.
