Great shot of your nephew. I am excited about it too but since I don't have a kid to push me into seeing it right away, I'm waiting until it comes out on netflix. I recently saw part one of the Deathly Hallows on netflix. I saw some of them with my daughter, including ones that came out when she was on college vacations but now that she's through grad school and working in DC, I don't even have that impetus. Unfortunately my nephews who are still children live in San Francisco. Oh well, it will come out on netflix eventually.

Hi Carver,
I'm lucky I have the boys to motivate me. A couple of weekends ago, I took them to see Deathly Hallows Part 1 at the outdoor movies at NCMA....lots of fun! I'd never seen a movie there and it's really a great place.
It was my third time seeing HP7 Part 1....I took the nephews to the movie theater twice when it first came out and then to NCMA. While I'm looking forward to seeing Part 2, we aren't going to be able to go the first weekend because the boys will be at camp. I'm kinda relieved that we will miss the first-weekend crowds!
Sue, I'm a little sad too, but not as sad as I was when I finished the last book!

I am excited and sad at the same time about this last installment.
I am hoping that JK Rowlings find inspiration in telling the story of the next generation of POTTERS AND WEASLEYS.
Great take on the theme.

Hi Annie, very cool photo of your nephew and a great take on this week's theme. How exciting for you and your nephews to have another new release movie to look forward to. I think the outdoor movies sounds cool too.
Have a great weekend.

The final Harry Potter movie opens here in Hong Kong next week too. And yeah, I really want to see it -- more so than the other Harry Potter movies of late. (And have to say that I still love the first Potter movie and book best!)

Creative take on the theme! Moira and I were just talking of this last night, realized we haven't seen part 1 yet. Not sure how that happened, but we need to rent it very soon so we'll be able to go see the finale!
I remember we were in England when the last book came out. One of my dad's friends picked up a copy for Sara at the midnight opening of the local bookstore. She was thrilled to have the UK edition, boy did that have cachet! Also remember seening hordes of people lined up at a shop in London, all dressed up in HP costumes. What fun!!
