I bet you all thought I'd be doing "V is for Venice" but that was too obvious. :) Instead we are going to the Big Easy this week.
I don't know anything about VooDoo but I saw lots of signs of it in New Orleans. I didn't buy a voodoo doll when I was there but did take some photos of them.

"Venice" had to be tempting, but Voodoo certainly makes for a Very Visionary post for V week! Good for you for opting for the Big Easy over the Too Easy. LOL
The Voodoo doll photos are great - love the group of colorful ones, but find the solitary one rather menacing! (Which I suppose is the point. Get it? The point? Hahahaha, I stuck that one!) ;-) My favorite photo is the last one, though. "Voodoo Mart?" Seriously? :-)

Hi Annie, those voodoo dolls are really colorful and that Zombie shop must've been really interesting to browse through.
I always love your Venice posts and was looking forward to a wonderful Venice post for this letter, so you got me on this one. :) A New Orleans post was a cool V choice too.

Being a person who is open to the odd and mysterious goings on in/beyond this world...voodoo stuff kind of creeps me out, I must admit. Reverend Zombie's House of VooDoo amuses me, but...the Voodoo Mart takes the prize...gimme a quart of whiskey and 3 voodoo dolls please! LOL!!! Great pics!!
I don't remember seeing voodoo stuff when I was in New Orleans, although was only 12 or 13 at the time and too busy giggling at the Bourbon St dancers standing in doorways wearing only pasties and g-strings! lol
