There are several water gardens on display at my local garden center. One of them is filled with water hyacinth - I enjoyed seeing it grow and bloom this summer.
This first one was taken in May. Such funky looking plants!
And then in July, the water hyacinth bloomed...

The water hyacinths do look funky in the first photo -- while in the second photo, the flowers a blooming nice sight! :b

Hi Annie, these are really cool plants. Looking at the first photo, it's interesting that they can produce such pretty flowers. I love the colors.

I just planted my Easter hyacinth last weekend. I never seen water hyacinth before...Coffee is on.
