Sad...when I ruined my ankle this spring on the ice and snow in front of my house.
Sad...hobbling along on a cast for ages, with the toe of the cast cutting into the top of my tender toesies!
Sad...to see the azalea blossoms dropping by the thousands in Savannah this past March.
Sad...when I'd been used to days of this...

Hiya, the French always say "Bon Courage" when one has to face up to a difficult time (for whatever reason) - reading your post brought the following quote to mind:
