This week's Photohunter topic is...Favorite!
That's a very difficult topic for me to choose only a few images, because the word favorite brings to mind a thousand and one images about:
family
friends
food
movies
TV shows
music
cars
weather
vacation places
...and on and on...
Let's try and narrow it down a little.
My roses in the early morning rain...
My 1887 Heinzmann transposition keyboard piano, fresh from the restoration that took the craftsman 2 years to complete...
My favorite piece in the Louvre. How could someone sculpt this to show the facial features under a veil of thin cloth? This is amazing to me...

Me, too, especially today when the mercury has dipped to almost -40C, if you can imagine. My roses are only a distant memory today!

I too struggled with the theme. Your favorite picks are gorgeous. The amazing sculpture in the Louvre reminds me of a sculpture in Naples known as the Veiled Christ. It is as stunning as the one you posted.

It was SO difficult to choose only a few favorites! I would have had to post a dozen photos to include my children and grandchildren! They are my most favorites, of course!
Thanks for your kind words! I do love the veiled sculpture. I have no idea how on earth the sculptor does that.
