This week's Photo Hunter topic is Aftermath...a very interesting topic!
I've searched through several CD's of images...here's what I found:
Azaleas in Savannah were spectacular for a week, and then, it rained heavily.
After the rain...aftermath.

Johnny Mercer composed hundreds of songs.
Beautiful music that haunts and reminds.
After he passed, all that remains besides his music is the aftermath of this great talent...

Jill, Michael and I enjoyed Royal Afternoon High Tea at the Savannah Tea Room.
Here's their Flaming Tea, the perfect aftermath to follow a delightful tea service...

“There's always some aftermath, good and bad, makes-me-happy or makes-me-unhappy, for anything we choose to do.”
~ Richard Bach

Love the photo of the azaleas. We can't grow them in Alaska, but when I lived in Missouri I had them. It always seemed to rain when they were at their most beautiful.

Hi Brenda,
I remember your beautiful photos of the flowers in Savannah, the week before I arrived.
This photo reminds me of what I saw.
Have a great time on your second trip to Savannah.

Cindy,
I arrived in Savannah just as the azaleas were opening, so I had a whole week of gorgeousness to enjoy. Then....rain. No more azaleas. :-(
They were so pretty, swaths of colour, all blossoms loaded with bees having a picnic with the new flowers!

chiaro,
Wish you were coming to Savannah this year...I think there won't be any azaleas open yet, when I arrive. So, I'll enjoy my photos and that gives me a peek again at the glorious colours!

Thanks, girasole!
After all of the sugar and carbs in that delicious high tea, a flaming cup of tea with a liquer helped to calm my tender tummy!
