Azaleas in Forsyth Park...
Everyone has left for their own corner of the Universe.
All of my Slowtrav friends have headed home.
Yesterday, taxis were coming and going, cars were leaving the parking lot, and the big house became emptier and emptier.
So, I took my camera and went for a long walk. That helped me to not think about how much I missed everyone and how much I wished that each and every person was back here just for one more day.
Here's what I found...
The azaleas are blooming in Savannah!
Y'all know how much I love them and how pleased I am that they've come into full blossom just for me.
So, here are a few of my favorite photos from yesterday...

Rules For Living In Savannah
#101 Azaleas will comfort you beautifully when you're missing your friends who have all gone home.

Brenda, that went fast. Thanks so much for sharing the photos with us.
I am surprised at the azaleas being so beautiful, with the kind of weather there was just last week.
We are having a mild spell here. The snow is almost all washed away.
Looks like you had a great time with your Slow Travel friends.
All the best to K.& V. and their new endeavor in Savannah.
Safe travels home.

chiaro,
Boy, did it ever fly past! I could easily stay for another week and not be ready to go home.
The azaleas were waiting just for me, chiaro! As soon as I arrived, they began to poke their colours out of hiding! ;-)

Is it possible to grow azaleas where you live? I know how much you love them. Glad they were all blooming for you when you were there.
