These memes are fun to read. I love curly hair and wish mine were curlier (it's just wavy).
And baby's laughter...it's the best!

I also enjoy watching equestrian sports on TV. My daughter did horse shows (Dressage and Three Day Eventing) and we'd spent hours watching the competition on TV.
This is one of my favorite memes. I have it on a schedule post to be published later this month.
Candi Replies: Maria, that so cool that your daughter did Dressage shows, this is the discipline I'll eventually like to pursue.
I'll be watching for your meme, they are fun!

Candi, are you enjoying "A gladiator dies only once" by Steven Saylor? It sounds familiar, but I can't think why!
Great meme -- I also enjoyed Slumdog and was pretty choked up in parts of the film.
Candi Replies:
Sandra, thank you for stopping by. Yes, I am enjoying the book very much. It is one of the Roma Sub Rosa series by Steven Saylor. I am reading them in chronological order and this is the third in the series, I am learning a lot about ancient Rome. This specific book is a collection of nine short stories, that feature Gordanius the Finder-as the rest of the series does. Hey, there is an idea for a blog post:grin.

Hi Candi, great post. I'm so glad that you are a part of the Slow Travel Community and a Slow Travel Blogger.
BTW, I could listen to the ocean for hours too and not be bored. It's endless. Thanks so much for writing this wonderful post and for sharing. Have a great evening Candi!

I think I'll do this meme, too, one day. It's fun getting to know each other.
Candi replies: I'll be waiting for that post. They are great for getting to know on another.

I don't think I've done this meme yet either - yay, another entry to fill up my Feb posts! The ocean is my place of peace, there is something calming about it for me even in the midst of the crashing waves and stinging spray. I am envious of long fingers, whatever they look like. I inherited my paternal grandfather's "sausage fingers" - short, stubby and decidedly graceless!
