Last tour of Spokane..

We decided to tough out the weather, and take one last spin in Spokane before we leave.
We were glad we did!

I find it interesting that my father moved to Spokane first when he left Palestine many years ago. He attended Whitworth University for couple years before he moved to Chicago. So we stopped by the campus, and snapped few photos for my father's sake. It is a very nice campus actually.

The major "attractions" in Spokane are the falls and park around the river. So, we parked the car, and walked around for a little while. It is actually very pretty. And the whole time we were thinking:"Gee, this would have been a very nice assignment in the summer."

Maybe, we will be back one summer after all.

Hi Candi, these are wonderful photos so I'm very glad that you toughed out the weather too. It must be really pretty during the summer there so hopefully you will return soon. But then again, Maui isn't too shabby either. Lucky you!

Thanks for sharing and have a great day Candi!

Beautiful photos! Can't believe how much snow is there! Maui will be a BIG change for you guys.

I've never been to Spokane, so it was nice to see the photos. The river looks very beautiful.

Beautiful photos, Candi!

So, when do you move to Maui?

Kathy, it would be huge if we came back to Spokane one summer, totally new experience.

Annie, Maui will be BIG allright.

Cindy, the river looks great. The photos really don't do it justice.

Nancy, we are leaving Spokane Wednesday morning, heading to SC for a weekend with family, then to Maui on Monday.

I enjoyed seeing these photos. I have never been to Spokane either and I lived in Washington State for two years. Have fun visiting your family and a safe trip to SC and then to Maui. You must be excited!

Gorgeous photos! Glad you braved the weather to shoot them for our enjoyment.
