Barb Cabot:

Hi Candi, that was funny just now. I looked at your photo and saw the lovely yellow leaves and said to myself, "That looks like Aspen". So beautiful. Good choice.

i agree with Barb. It is beautiful and a good choice.

Those are really lovely trees! Happy weekend!

The blending of yellow Aspen and green pines is very beautiful. Great take this week.

Wow the foliage is beautiful

Thanks for dropping by. I hope to see a golden yellow Aspen

Anna:

Beautiful shot! :)

We have the same thought with our choice for todays theme! ;)

Have a great weekend!

Nice photo. My daughter, son-in-law & grandson live in Colorado. The scenery/landscape is so different there than here in coastal South Carolina.

Pretty i miss the mountains during the fall. Happy weekend and PH too.

liz:

How lovely! And under a blue sky too.

Perfect for the theme. I love aspens but have only ever seen them in photos.

Have a nice first weekend in spring!

I've grown more appreciative of autumn and its accompanying color changes, but have yet to snap some pix to capture the brilliance. Glad you have!! :)

Here's my first participation in the Photo Hunt!!

cheers,

Great photo of a beautiful nature!
Perfect for the theme.

Nice photo. I haven't been to Aspen in a long time, and it is a beautiful place to go when the trees are turning golden.

My mother always loved the aspens on the hills in fall best. I always thought they looked odd next to the pines.

Kathy (Trekcapri):

Hi Candi, wonderful photo for this week's theme. Those trees are beautiful.

Great choice Candi! Have a great weekend!

srp:

Love the Aspen trees... is it true that the leaves do not stay but a few days after they turn? Great picture for the hunt today!

Terrific shot! WOw, it's gorgeous there.

I did yellow today, too! I hope you can come visit.

Have a great weekend!

srp- I am not sure how long they stay, but I believe longer than few days. We were in Colorado for over 10 days, and "our" aspens were yellow for the whole time.

Great shot of the Aspen trees! Perfect for the theme.

I grew up in the Colorado mountains and this picture suddenly made me homesick. Very nice shot.

What beautiful trees. Great choice for the yellow theme.

ann:

Those are certainly beautiful yellow trees.. thanks for coming by...

nice shot!
yellow sandwiched in between da green :)

have a great weekend :)

Beautiful photo. I was lucky to spend two falls in Colorado back in the 80's while in grad school. The Aspen trees were so unique and beautiful after growing up in New England. I can't remember how long the leaves last once they turn yellow so I am no help answering srp's question.

I've never seen a real life Aspen tree and these yellow coloured ones are beautiful! Happy photo hunting!

Gorgeous photo! We have aspens in Arizona, in the Mogollon Rim. They are stunning in the fall with their golden leaves and smooth, almost white trunk.

Kim:

Those Aspens are just beautiful! When I lived in Kansas we had some in our yard and I really do miss them. Here in Texas I haven't seen any. Thanks for the wonderful memories through your beautiful photo.

Mine is up...I'm just running behind visiting everyone else.

jam:

Nice golden yellow of the trees!

sheri:

I just love that photo, Candi!

Pretty! Spending fall in Colorado must be beautiful.
