PhotoHunt: entertainment

photohunter7iq.png

The theme for this week's photohunt is entertainment.

A navy band playing beautiful tunes on the Spanish Steps in Rome.

Piazza Spagna is normally packed with people, but it was even more so for the special entertainment.

Thanks for visiting, and happy weekend everyone.

Great shots. A perfect take on this week's theme!

Thanks for sharing these pics. Never been there makes this post a little like armchair tourism :)

Wow, what a huge band! The Spanish Steps are entertaining anytime but you were lucky to be there that day.

Have a great weekend!

Kathy (Trekcapri):

Hi Candi, wonderful photos and a great choice for this week's entertainment theme. Everytime I see the Spanish Steps, I think of Roman Holiday with Audrey Hepburn and Gregory Peck!

Have a great weekend!

jmb:

What a stunning sight. It must have been wonderful music as well. Got to love those uniforms.

Lovely photos. Am sure everyone love to go visit these places.

How colorful and festive! I love military bands...:-)

I've posted too, and I've got cheesecake! Remember the cheesecake?

YTSL:

What a dapper looking band! And funny but true: the second photo of the Spanish steps remind of the steps near the ruins of St Paul's Church in Macau!

i always enjoy outdoor performances like this one. great shots!

it's interesting to see a navy band entertaining the crowd at the other side of planet.

Race:

listening to music especially if from a band's music is really entertaining, here are other entertaining things:

This is a sure way to pass away the time with a lot of fun watching the band. Beautiful plaza too.

liz:

I bet that was great entertainment. Stirring too.

It must be really entertaining to attract such a huge audience. Happy PH!

Great shots Candi!

I have to admit that every time I see the Spanish steps I am left rather underwhelmed - now had this band been there it might have been different!

Have a super weekend.

Eden:

Great shots!

how beautiful. I would love to be there to watch something like that! :)

Anne:

Yay Rome!! Thanks for the great photos Candi

Hi Candi!

Great photos! That must have been so cool to see in person. I almost posted photos of the band I saw play in Florence but will save them for another post.

I have checked out most of your blog posts I missed while in Italy. What fun you had with the elephants! I need to go back when I have more time to read them again.

Great shot! I love hanging out at the Spanish Steps.

What a great post for the entertainment theme. Sorry I'm so slow visiting this week.
