PhotoHunt: low

photohunter7iq.png

The theme for this week's photohunt is low.

I am struggling with this one. Many things come to mind when I think low;but the term itself is very subjective, and dependent on the level you are comparing things with. Of course the higher you go,the lower things appear, and that is what I am playing with this week.

When we climbed up to the dome in St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican, the views of St Peter's Square and Rome in the horizon were spectacular, and the high buildings seemed low, and not to mention small.

Hi Candi, wonderful photos and a great take on this week's theme which I agree with you is subjective depending on your point of view.

I didn't get to climb up the St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican and looking at your fabulous photos, I wish that I had. Awesome view.

Have a great weekend!

Great shots! I didn't climb the dome when I was there and wish I had. What great views.

Hope you have a great weekend.

I like your interpretation of the theme and your cool photos. The view from the dome of the Basilica is spectacular. Wished I had the guts to climb it :(

I haven't done a PH entry in almost two months and thought I'd get back on it this Saturday but I'm struggling with the theme. I'll have to get really creative to find something to post.

Wishing you a super weekend!

What a nice clear day you had to photograph from this vantage point. I like being able to see all the city. Great photos for the theme Candi.

it's interesting how each one of us have a unique way of interpretation on this weeks theme.. good pick!

Excellent shot. I love the view from the dome and you are right - the buildings do see so low. No skyscrapers either. Great post for the theme.

Great take on the theme! I loved doing that climb. Great photos!

I know I commented on the storm already but just saw more of the news. Getting a little freaked out by this storm. Stay safe!!

CY:

Take care, CY

Thanks all for the comments.

girasoli, I am getting a little freaked out too. We got everything we need, so we are storm ready. I have to work Sunday night, and Bill is the working that evening and Monday evening, there is a chance that we'll get stuck at work, and the other people are not able to make it.
I had to laugh about your comment in the earlier post about the fearless governor:)Stay safe!

What a great take on the theme. Your shots are brilliant! We'll have to climb up to the top the next time we're in Rome.

liz:

You were brave to go up that there!

Your blueberry pie looks good too.
