It is an open theme this week for photohunt!
I browsed my recent albums, and decided to post couple photos from our recent "stop" in Colorado in mid September.
My in laws bought an off-road truck after they bought a house in Colorado(Vail area). On our recent trip there, they took us on a couple of thrill rides. I never thought I could enjoy four-wheeling, but I loved it(both the easy and "moderate" roads)! Crossing the streams(driving that is) was an experience I held my breath through, but enjoyed it a lot. The scenery was amazing. And having the place to ourselves was priceless.
The photos I am sharing were taken on our easy off-road adventure around Kebler Pass and Lost Lake Trail.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend all!

Hi Candi, great photo and selection for this week's free choice! I love the colors and the whole landscape. And how fun to be driving around in an off road vehicle. Must have been quite the adventure.
Thanks so much for sharing. Have a wonderful weekend!

Nice photos, I love the colour of the grasses against the dark trees, really neat contrast.
I've only been off roading a couple times (when Dave and I were first married, he had a Suzuki 4x4...and then along came kids and that got traded in for a sedan or mini-van or something more family like!) But it was fun being able to get into places and have them all to yourself.

Wonderful pictures. It looks like a great time in the 4x4. I bet it was scary crossing rivers. I've been here once but would love to return - my father was born near by but we never visited as a family.
