Fellow blogger Sandra mentioned in a post that Piazza del Popolo is her favorite in Rome. I was reminded of our trek up Pincio Gardens (on the western edge of Villa Borghese) to view a magical Roman sunset over Piazza del Popolo and Rome's rooftops.

What a lovely shot, Candi. I love the glow of the sunset over the buildings.

Great photo! My memory of Pizza del Popolo is being run over by a 13 year old riding on one of those segways. He literally ran over my toes! AND he didn't even stop to see if I was ok.

Cool photo - it almost looks like an ice skating rink!

Oh fantastic!! My sister and I walked up to Pincio from our hotel near the Colosseum, and found the view just stunning. Our walk was around midnight though and I didn't get any photos of the view, so thanks for this!! I am transported back to beloved Rome once again!

Beautiful. I did not get to this section of Rome on my one trip. Ah.. another reason to return. :)
