This is Hotel Metropole in Bellagio. We were on the top floor in the middle facing the lake, with a balcony.
This hotel was our favourite because we had a nice relaxing 5 nights there. The people running the hotel and restaurant treated us very kindly.
It was noisy with the door to the balcony open, but quite quiet when the doors were closed until last night. Noisy neighbours moved in and I could even hear them talking. It sounded like they were moving the furniture around for atleast a couple of hours (between 9-11pm).??
The hotel has a ceiling fan but no a/c, which was fine for this time of year. It has a great website.
The gelato place in the hotel closes for the season on Sept. 30th. The fellow running it became quite friendly with my husband while I was in the lobby on the internet.
Breakfast buffet was included. Parking is free between the green lines. Now I can see that being a problem (not having enough) when it is busy season. We did not have crowds.
The ferry right in front of the hotel is a very easy way to get around the lake. Better than using a car. There is also a car ferry on the other side of the hotel. Food is good in the restaurants, but I would not say great.
The Hotel has its own restaurant on the terrace overlooking the water. We ate there twice.
It is 3*, as are most of the other hotels. Being on the water with a balcony view was what we liked the best.
