I am not big on New Year's Resolutions so I am glad I joined a gym back in November! I absolutely love it, it is like going to a nice hotel spa. It is called MAC Harbor East and is close to my apartment here in Baltimore.
I have never been fond of running but I want to do some more cardio so I am thinking about doign a 5K run sometime this spring, for instance in April, and maybe (big maybe!) do the Capital Challenge Walk MS 2008 in September. I am embarassed to admit that I am less worried about walking 50 kilometers than I am about raising $ 1500! That is a lot of money... Anyway, I guess if I start early and hit up everyone I know I might be able to do it... Click here to access the info page.
Here are some possible 5Ks for March or April, all with catchy titles!
Scope it Out 5K for Colon Cancer Research
Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile & 5K
Cassidy and Pinkard Colliers Race for Hope Brain Tumor 5K Run/Walk
If I had more readers I would have you vote on which one to do! :)

Do you ever wonder how many readers you actually have? My cousin does those fund-raising events and once a year she sends out a mass e-mail to everyone she knows asking for donations and providing a link. It's all on-line and automated and I can use my credit card. Does the MS walk have that? I was thinking about doing their ride (150 miles over two days).

Yeah, I do wonder how many readers I have - but I don't think I have that many! Although people have found my page through random searches (Nicaragua, Vieste, to mention two) and emailed me with questions. At least I am a slightly more regular blogger than I was last summer.
The MS Walk does have online donations and pledges so the mass email is a great idea! Someone at my gym did the MS Bike Ride last year and really enjoyed it, and with all the biking you do I am sure it will be enjoyable for you.

Do you have stats turned on your blog? Do you want to (then you could see how many people visit every day).

Good idea, Kim! I would love to do that. Now I just need to figure out how... I will do a search in Moveable Type to look for it.
