I feel bad that I haven't written more about Suriname, but honestly, I don't have that much to say! I also didn't take a lot of photos. So I figured I'd post a couple of photos of some things I bought in Guatemala back in April.
I love this couple! The photo doesn't do them justice but they look really great in real life.
These are some place mats woven in beautiful colors:

Oh they are so peaceful and grounded looking. And I love the texture of the woven mats.

You'll have to tell me where you bought that sweet couple. I will be back in Guatemala next month and would love to take them home with me!

Kathy, I bought it in the handicrafts market in Antigua. If you are standing at the entrance (with your back to the Pollo Campero) take a left as soon as you enter the market, and it is one of the stalls/shops on that side (i.e. the perimeter, facing the fence.) I don't remember the name of the shop but it has glass windows and lots of different ceramics. Good luck and have fun!!

I have my ticket booked and will be back in Guatemala for 17 days in August. Now that I know where to look I will hopefully have this little couple with me in my room in Antigua. Thank you, sweet girl!
