Most people have probably seen this by now, but it doesn't matter - it is still so amazing! Susan Boyle is the somewhat matronly looking 47 year old who surprises and wows the judges and the audience on Britain's Got Talent. Just beautiful! Some of the scenes are particularly great - when Simon's face changes from his usual frown to an expression of amazement; when Pierce says "the biggest yes I have ever given"; when Amanda says that it was a privilege to listen to the performance. And she is right, it is a privilege to hear this beautiful voice, to see how happy she is is when they like her singing, and to realize that we can all reach our dreams. Brava Susan!!

I've watched this video so many times this week. It's just the most heart-warming and up-lifting tale. I am so happy for Susan! My mom told me that she was on Larry King Live last night - good for her!

I agree, no matter how many times I see this, I am always pleased and amazed with her beautiful voice and talent.

Hi Chicciola, I also loved this video and Susan's performance and heartwarming story. I agree with the scenes you pointed out. I particularly liked what Amanda said and at the end when Simon said that she can go back to the village with her head held high, its three yes's.
I say Brava Susan too!

It is wonderful that someone with this kind of talent is finally getting recognition! She is amazing. It was fun to see Simon smile throughout the performance.

My dad sent me the link to this video last week, with the comment that it might bring a tear. Well I definitely inherited his weeper gene - I too was totally choked up watching this amazing performance and the reactions from the folks who were ready to dismiss her without a backward glance. Thanks for sharing this!

I love seeing this! I especially love the look on Simon's face when she began to sing. His eyebrows shot up and he stared. Too cool! One look said than more a million words.
