Last year, at the end of September/first of October, my husband and I had a wonderful trip to Italy. I am missing the beauty and culture of that country (and the food!), and am looking forward to our next visit. We were able to spend 3 weeks visiting Venice, Florence, Rome, and Southern Tuscany. I couldn't begin to say what my favorite area was-they were all unique and special in their own ways. I thought I would share some of my favorite memories.

Thanks Sandi. I'm not sure what's next. I had the good fortune to win a trip through my work to Atlantis in the Bahamas this past April, and we added on 5 days to go to Harbor Island, which we loved. I'll post about that soon. We also went to Sonoma this month for our 25th anniversary, which I'll also post about soon. It's Hawaii in February for some sunshine and warmth(much needed when you spend the winter in Alaska). Hopefully Italy again in a couple of years. Not sure if we would want to go back to same areas, or someplace new. I was just thinking last night about starting back my Italian lessons....

Thanks everyone. I'm glad I got some good photos while there. Girasoli-no, we won't be in Oahu. We'll be on Maui, and we're on a direct Alaska Air flight from Anchorage to Maui. If you ever visit Maui, let me know-I'd love to get together.
