This week's theme for PhotoHunter is breakfast. I didn't have any unique breakfast photos, and so I decided to take a photo of what I eat most days-oatmeal. Today mine was made special by the addition of a persimmon and sliced almonds. I also made myself a capuccino. A warm and healthy way to start the day.

That is a healthy looking breakfast! Persimmon is a fruit I've never tried.

Jerry-You should try them sometime. They're wonderful. When they're not as soft, I love them sliced in salads. Good with greens, a little goat cheese, sliced persimmons, chopped hazelnuts, and a simple vinegrette.

Yum! It looks delicious! I love oatmeal. I usually put blueberries in mine.

It looks so delicious and very healthy! I eat steel cut oats with blueberries, slightly sweetened with agave nectar.
