The theme for this week's PhotoHunter is "space". I posted a couple of photos from Juneau, AK earlier this week, and decided to post some taken from the airplane as I was leaving Juneau. I think these have a perfect representation of the meaning of space. It is just so vast, and there is so much empty space, when flying above snow-covered mountains, glaciers, and water. I always look down and think about all of that space that no one has ever stepped foot on.

It does boggle the mind a bit when you think of all of the 'vacant' spaces that still exist on earth.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. I was pleased with the way the photos turned out, but it really had nothing to do with my picture-taking ability, it was just due to a beautiful day.
