The theme for this week's PhotoHunt is "Painted". I decided to show photos that I took on Harbour Island, a very small island in the Bahamas. The houses were very colorfully painted, as were various signs and buildings also. Sorry the photos aren't better-as I post them here, I realize every one is crooked. Hum, I wonder what I had been doing before taking these pictures...
By the way, this last picture is of a stand called "Queen Conch". They made a fabulous conch salad.

I love the pastel colors in the tropical sun. Conch salad does sound really good. Did they have couch fritters also? We had those in Belize.

The houses are so cute. I would have never guessed the first two houses would have been taken in the Bahamas. Fun take on the theme this week.

Wonderful, cheery houses. Reminds me of seeing all the colorful houses in Burano. Really joyful! Great take on this theme.

Marta-I don't believe this place had anything but conch salad. It was great, but very laid back. You came and signed a sheet with what kind you wanted, they told you how long it would be, and it ended up being twice as long as they said. But they kept doing lots of business, and it was mainly locals.
