The theme for this week's PhotoHunt is "surprise". I took these photos in April from the top of Haleakala Volcano on Maui. I was surprised at the beautiful colors I saw.

Fabulous shots! I love Haleakala, and it is one of the big reasons I am grateful to have lived on Maui for while.And even though I've been there multiple times, every time is a pleasant surprise.

The view at the top of Haleakala is a wonderful surprise! I was amazed when I witnessed the beauty of Haleakala. Did you get to see the sunrise?
