Sennen Cove

We had been to Sennen Cove on our first visit to Cornwall in 2006. There is a huge beach and it seemed perfect for a dog. Many beaches ban dogs after Easter and Sennen is one of them but this last trip was before Easter and it seemed an ideal place for Jezebel, our collie cross, to have a good scamper.
At first she totally agreed and we had a great visit there when a friend came from Padstow with her dog to meet us. We went again on our last day but things did not go quite as well. It started OK but after a time, Jezzie took the gravest exception to a surfer leaving the beach with his kite hanging in the sky above. Doubtless it reminded her of a hang glider who had come over our garden and terrified her when she was a puppy.
