Don't laugh, but just last week when we were having dinner at Cafe Firenze, I said what I really miss here are those wine glasses we use all over Italy - short, squat, to me, perfetto.
Deborah responds: Agreed Marcia. I had to go to an antique mall to find the exact ones I liked.

Great photo. Brings back wonderful memories. I love those glasses also. Can't wait to eat good pizza when I return to Italy. I usually order it 2-3 times a week!

I love drinking wine out of those glasses; they remind me of family and all things Italian.

I am so happy to see that I am not the only one who likes those glasses. Sure, the 50 buck Riedel are nice as well but I never worry about breaking the wine glasses in Italy. I have a set of ceramic wine glasses that are the same size as the 'juice' glasses we use in Italy - perfect!
