Eden's Wanderings and Wonderings

I decided to start blogging and Kim extended a helping hand to get me started. Gezz, I did not realize that it can be an intimidating first step just to get started. What to write about? Paso Slow Bowl? Well, that's been done and so much better than I could even write about. Work? Maybe sometime later... Travel? One of these days...

Ash Wednesday? Being such a Catholic, I was feeling guilty not having gone to church today. This Catholic guilt is a huge thing... Lent is here. I was reading the church bulletin last Sunday. One of the things to do during lent is fasting and abstaining from eating meat on Fridays and on Ash Wednesday, unless one is over 59 years old! Then one is excused from all that. See, there is a silver lining about being old... and I am not referring to those silvery strands peeking through the one's dyed head of hair.

And after Lent, of course, is my spring break... another silver lining... life is just full of pleasant futures... That can be a blog subject too... hmmm
