Happy Easter!

I wonder where the tradition started...

I grew up in the Philippines where Easter was more of a religious tradition more than anything else. Raised a Catholic, I believe that He is Risen.

Ok, the visitors who went to his tomb could not find him.

I came to the United States and people look for plastic eggs with chocolates in them.

What gives?

I have no basis in fact, but I think they egg probably reaches back to some pagen ritual or an association with spring and re-birth. Can't figure out the bunny at all though.
