I am realizing that there are so many activities around my neighborhood. I am glad I have this Staycation opportunity because it is making me look into my own backyard for entertainment.
This weekend, I went to see one of the Woodminster Summer Musical - Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.
The Woodminster Summer Musicals are performed at the Woodminster Amphitheater in the Oakland Hills. The shows are staged under the stars and in the bay area's well known micro climate! Boy, was I cold, but still enjoyed the show.
I was introduced to this musical venue last year when I went with some friends to watch Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat ( I think that was its name... I had chemo brain :)then...)
I enjoyed both performances and will most likely attend the offering next month - Suessical.

Suessical? For real - as in a play based on Dr. Suess? Awesome!! I would LOVE to see such a marvelliscious event! Seriously, I adore Dr. Suess.
Pleeease go see this wondrous production so I can live vicariously through you! :)

Those all sound fantastic -- I love musicals! I remember Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat so well, I loved the music.
And Seussical sounds fab (altho I'd be wary if The Cat in the Hat shows up, he's big trouble!)
