Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss

Today, March 2, is Dr. Seuss' birthday. We read a lot of Dr. Seuss' books in class today. Our third grade buddies read to the kindergarteners.

Some of our favorites are: The cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, etc.

I also love, Oh the Places You'll Go! Which brings me to the point where I want to thank Deborah here for the Dr. Seuss 51 and 1/2 Travel cards "Oh, the Wondrous Places You'll Go". It is what I picked from the boxes of goodies sent to Darci's for the SlowBowl group. I have looked through the cards over and over to see what I want to see soon. :)

Thank you, Deborah!

Marcia:

I am also a lifelong fan of these books; my children each have a collection and I look forward to reading them to the grandbabies. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss, indeed.

We had a big Dr. Seuss day at school also. I loved his books when I was a child. I have Green Eggs & Ham in Italian! I found it in a bookstore somewhere in Italy (forget where now). Those cards are very cool!

Eden:

Thursday is Green Eggs and Ham Day for our class...

Wow, Green Eggs and Ham in Italian. Way cool, Girasoli!

Marcia, funny how I also think of the grandbabies when I see books these days.
