One of Tracey's parks

My daughter, Tracey, is a landscape architect. She received this certificate from UC Berkeley in addition to a degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara. Today she added another feather on her cap. I am now the proud mom of one who is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Enviromental Design) Accredited Professional.

She loves designing and watching public parks come to "life". Here is one of her recent accomplishments.

This is a children's park in Dublin, California.... not too far from where I live.

The park has many areas that entertain children of all ages...

The red cup spinner looked inviting, except that it was wet that morning with early morning winter dew. :(

No children on this early winter morning.... going back when the weather is warmer to see how the children take to this park.

Eden, this is such a lovely spot for everyone to enjoy. I can envision this place on a bright spring day full of laughing children. Your daughter is very talented. We need her good work and expertise.

Awesome...congratulations, Tracey...

Wow, Eden. How cool to be a park designer! Tracey did a great job.

Congrats to Tracey, and you too! Lucky kids will get to play in that park!

Congratulations to your daughter! And the park is beautiful.

What a wonderful park! She did a fantastic job!

tourmama:

Eden - please pass my congratulations on to Tracey! (and I'll also do so when I see you on the 1st).

Love the park, and I'm sure the kids will as well.

Having met Tracey at dinner in SF last summer, it is really nice to be able to connect her and her wonderful project.

Wow, it's gorgeous! Tell Tracey "congrats on a beautiful park". I can see you glowing (thru the internet) with pride, Eden. Congrats to you too.

I have meant to comment on this earlier but have been sick and have been behind in commenting. This has to be one of the most creative and kid friendly parks I have ever seen. Oh how I wish we had parks like this here in Hawaii. Congratulations to your daughter. Well done!
